With more than 25 years of experience in apparel sourcing and textile manufacturing, I have built my career around helping clothing brands source smarter, produce better, and bring quality products to market. Based in Southern California, I work with emerging labels and established global brands across the full range of apparel categories.

I started my career at Billabong USA in 1999, spending six years developing expertise in apparel production, brand operations, and global supply chain management. That foundation has set the standard for everything since.

In 2005, I became a partner in an apparel sourcing company, helping brands navigate overseas manufacturing, factory relationships, and product execution from concept to delivery. That experience clarified what factory-direct sourcing looks like in practice and how much the right production partner changes the outcome.

From 2009 to 2015, I served as a Merchandising Manager at a sourcing firm, overseeing product development, vendor management, and supply chain strategy across multiple categories and manufacturing regions.

In 2015, I launched SM Sourcing Company to give brands of all sizes access to the factory relationships and production expertise that larger companies typically command. That same year, I took on the role of VP of Production and Design for a client, leading product development, sourcing, manufacturing oversight, and design direction through 2022.

Today I work with clothing brands on factory-direct sourcing, production management, and textile consulting, bringing senior-level expertise to brands that need it without the overhead of a full-time hire.

My approach has always been simple: build genuine partnerships, maintain high standards, and make sure every client can sleep well at night knowing their production is in good hands.
